Expectation

Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. (Mark 11:24 KJV)

We have come to the last leg in our study from moving from desire to possession, that is, ABCDE of Bible faith. The last letter in the study is ‘E’ which stands for expectation.

Though we looked at this in our devotion
about twelve days ago, but for the sake of those who missed it, we will repeat it here. Expectation is the cap on the bottle without which the content might spill out and be lost.

To expect is to prepare for what is coming, like a pregnant woman will prepare for the coming of the baby. The scriptures say that the expectation of the righteous shall not be cut short. Be expectant today and you shall not be disappointed.

Confession:
I am expectant! Goodness and mercies shall come upon me today. I will be favoured, I will be preferred.

Prayer:

Let it be unto you today as you expect.
