We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is
meet, because that your faith groweth exceedingly…(2 Thessalonians 1:3 KJV)
Pau said of the saints in Thessalonica that their faith groweth
exceedingly. This means your faith can grow and grow exceedingly.
Where will
such faith come from or how can you
make your faith to grow like that? Firstly,
faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. This word of God as described in 2nd
Pet.1:4 is referred to as exceeding great and precious promises.
If the word of
God is exceeding, then it will produce exceeding faith. Secondly faith grows or
develops when it is used. Therefore begin to use your faith. When you use your
faith for exceeding great things, your faith will grow exceedingly.
My Confession
My faith grows exceedingly.
Prayer
May you come to know what is the breadth, length, and depth of the love of Christ which passeth all knowledge and thereby be filled with all the fullness of God.
