I've got joy!

John 6:29 (ASV)
"Jesus answered and said unto them, this is the work of God, that ye believe in him whom he hath sent"

We are still meditating on how to know if you are believing or not

"Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing… (ROM15:13 ASV)

The second yardstick is joy!

If you seem to have lost your joy, your heart is no longer in a believing mode. Once you allow your joy to be stolen, your faith goes out the window and so is the manifestation you are longing for.

It was Jerry Savelle that preached a message "If the devil can't steal your joy he cannot keep your goods. So how is your joy today? Rejoice in the Lord always. Again, I say unto you, rejoice!

Confession

I’ve got joy, joy, joy down in my heart right now.

How to Believe

John 6:29 (ASV)
Jesus answered and said unto them, this is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.

Believing is very important to an individual in your experience with God. Jesus referred to it as the main thing in the believer’s life. Therefore you must have a way to measure if you are believing.

The first thing that enables you to know if you are believing is

“…he that believeth shall not be in haste.” (Isaiah 28:16)
“For we who have believed do enter into that rest…” (Hebrews 3:4)

There is a rest, a peace that comes to you when your heart is in belief mode. If you lose your peace or rest in a situation where you claim to be believing God, then you are no longer believing, you lost it.

Get yourself back into the word, until your belief is restored.

Faith speaks

Mathew 17:20 “… for verily I say unto you, if ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say…”

In our meditation yesterday, I pointed out to you that faith takes what belongs to it. But faith is voice activated, receiving or taking does not begin until your tongue comes into action.

Jesus said in our text, if you have faith, ye shall say. We can turn it around and say the converse if you do not have faith, you shall not say.

Faith (your speaking) is what you take to the counters of heaven to cash, take or receive your desires or move mountains out of your pathway. Start speaking now and start receiving now.

Confession:

I believe therefore, I speak, I have faith and I say. I am the redeemed of the Lord and I say so!

Watch what you say

Mark 11:24 “ Therefore  I say unto you, what things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them”

Faith takes what belongs to it. Faith takes a hold of what belongs to it. It does not wait for it to come, it takes it.

In the natural, we use our hand to take things offered. What is the hand in the realm of the spirit? “death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof”. The word “power” in the verse is the Hebrew word “yawd” and it means “a hand (the open one indicating power, means direction). Also in Mathew 6:31 “therefore take no thought, saying…” This means that we take by saying.

What am I saying to you? your tongue is your hand in the realm of the spirit. You take in the realm of the spirit by saying. When you do not say, you have not taken the things offered.

Confession:

Because He has said I will never leave you nor forsake I can boldly say, the Lord is my helper, I shall not fear what man shall do unto me.

How to stop worrying

Philippians 4:6 (NLT) “Don’t worry about anything: instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank Him for all He has done”

Lastly, on our meditation on worry. If you have been overtaken with worry, then do the following things to put it away from you:

a. Humble yourself – 1Peter 5:6 -7

b. Put away perverse speaking – Proverbs 4:23

c. Prayer – 1Peter 5:7; Ph.4:6

d. Praise – Ph. 4:6

Turn your worrying and concerns to items of prayer and praise and watch them disappear.

e. Prioritize – Matt. 6:33

Confession:
I will seek first things first. I will trust in the Lord and not lean unto my own thinking

Pride makes you to worry

Philippians 4:6 (NLT) “Don’t worry about anything: instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank Him for all He has done”

We are still looking at worry. There is another root cause of worry. It is pride. Look again at yesterday: Proverbs 19:1,3 (amp) “Better is a poor man who walks in his integrity then a rich man who is perverse in his speech and is a [self – confident] fool… The foolishness of man subverts his way [ruins his affairs]; then his heart is resentful and frets against the Lord”

What one word for confidence in self? PRIDE. Why else would you worry if it is not pride. It is pride that makes a man think he can take care of things himself and not resort to God.

I believe worry is sin against God if viewed in this light. If you see worry as pride and sin against God, you will heed to advice of Peter in 1Peter 5:7 “cast all your cares upon the Lord for he cares for you”.

Confession:

I will not take the care in anything anymore. I refuse anxiety for tomorrow. I roll over my care unto the Lord

The root of worry

Philippians 4:6 (NLT) “Don’t worry about anything: instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank Him for all He has done”

One of the things that make people to lose out in their faith walk is worry.  But worry does not just happen, it has a root cause. What is it?

“A wholesome tongue is a tree of life: but perverseness therein is a breach in the spirit”

The root of worry is found in perverse or contrary speech because it causes a breach in the spirit.

A breach is a rupture, a gap in a wall or a fortification when this is done what follows is worry.

Proverbs 19:1,3 (amp) “Better is a poor man who walks in his integrity than a rich man who is perverse in his speech and is a [self – confident] fool…
The foolishness of man subverts his way [ruins his affairs]; then his heart is resentful and frets against the Lord”

Confession:

I cast all my cares, anxieties, worries upon the Lord for He cares for me. I refuse to take up any care or worry.

Keep on standing

1 Peter 5: 9 (AMP) “Withstand him, be firm in faith [against his onset – rooted, established, strong, immovable, and determined] knowing that the same (identical) sufferings are appointed to your brotherhood (the whole body of Christians).

Lastly, in fighting back, you have to be:

a) Firm – it means not soft or yielding when pressed.

It also means not fluctuating, not likely to change, not shaking or trembling.

b) Persevere – that is be ready to resist for as long as necessary.

Confession:
Having done all, I stand and will keep on standing.

Resist the enemy

Mathew 11:12 (GNT) “From the time John preached his message until this very day the Kingdom of heaven has suffered violent attacks, and violent men try to seize it.”

We continue our meditation on the passage above. In fighting back under the following:

     a.    Until you resist the enemy you never will see him flee
     b.    It is the violent, the forceful in the spirit who can push back the enemy.
     c.     There is a fighting before you can lay hold 1Tim.6:12
  d.  God’s promises have to be taken before they can become yours. They are not automatically yours because God promised them.

Confession:

I take back all that is mine in Christ Jesus NOW!

Fight back!

Mathew 11:12 (GNT) “From the time John preached his message until this very day the Kingdom of heaven has suffered violent attacks, and violent men try to seize it.”

Dear friend, when the enemy tries to take what is yours – your joy, your marriage, your children, your spouse, don’t just sit and watch. Don’t throw up your arms in the air and give up, fight back. This is what we are called to do.

Even the scripture say when the enemy comes in, like a flood the Spirit of God raises a standard against him. Guess what?

The spirit of God does not raise that standard apart from you, because the flood comes from you.

“He that believeth in me, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water” (John 7:37-39).

So fight back!

Don’t lie down and let the enemy roll over you! Fight back! It is not over except you say so.

Confession:

The Lord is my light and my salvation. I shall not fear. I shall not be defeated. I am more than a conqueror.

Overcoming faith

1 John “This is the victory that overcomes the world, even out faith”

I want you to know that there is nothing in this world and its systems that faith in God will not overcome.

Let us examine some characteristics of faith that overcomes from 1John 5:1-4

      1.     It has its roots in God – it must be given birth to by God
      2.     It has its roots in faith in Jesus Christ
      3.     It must be rooted in a love for God’s word – Roms 10:17
      4.     It must be rooted in the love of God. – 1John 5:1; Gal.5:6

      5.     It must be rooted in you – 1 John 5:4

    Confession: I have overcoming faith.

Lay hold on it!

John 1:16 (MGS) “We all live off his generous bounty, gift after gift after gift. We got the basics from Moses and then this exuberant giving and receiving, this endless knowing and understanding – all this came through Jesus, the Messiah”

I want you to understand that faith is a response to grace. This is because faith can only lay hold on what grace had made available. If grace has not made it available, faith has nothing to key hold of.

The perfect illustration of this is found in 2Kings 4:8-36.

When Elisha came into this household, there was no child, when he gave the word of the Lord that the woman would have one, she asked the Elisha not to deceive her. So we cannot say the child came because she believed.

But check out her attitude when the child was attacked, she held on in faith. When she was asked about the child, though he was dead, she answered it is well! Now that grace has made it available, faith is laying hold on to it.

Grace has made all things available for you. Live off His generous bounty, lay hold on it all by faith.

Confession:

What God has for me, it is for me and I know without o doubt the I will possess it.

You are a speaking spirit

Hebrews 3:1 “Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus”

Let me give you some reasons why speaking is so important to your walk of faith.

      1.     Christianity is a confession

      2.     You cannot have right – standing which faith brings without you speaking - Rom 10:5,6

       3.     It is confession that brings salvation, not believing – Rom 10:9,10

     4.     Faith cometh by hearing. To hear, there must be a speaking. You can be the one speaking. Rom 10:17

       5.     God made man a speaking spirit

      6.     It is by speaking that you write upon your heart, and faith has to be in your heart and on your lips to work

     7.     The scriptures say it is with the tongue (that is, speaking) that the course for your life’s journey is set.

Confession:

I believe there I shall speak!

God's blessings

Psalm 81: 10
“I am the Lord thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt: open thy mouth wide, and I will fill it”

God is very much interested in blessing us much more than we are interested in receiving. To receive God’s blessings we must do it on His own terms.

One of the major ways (if not the major way) God has ordained to bless us is through our speaking, this is what our text reveals. God is inviting you “…open your mouth wide and I will fill it”.

What does this mean?

The words “open thy mouth” literally means “speech”. The word “wide” means “enlarge”. Put these words together means “enlarge your speaking or speech”. So what God is saying to you today is “enlarge your speaking, whatever you speak, I will match it, I will do it. Hallelujah!

I am the Lord your God. I rescued you from Egypt. Just ask, and I will give you whatever you need”. (CEV)

Prayer:

Whatever you speak in the ears of God today is granted you. Speak!

My light will shine

Philippians “2:16 “Holding forth the word of life…” “holding out [to it] and offering [to all men] the word of life…” (Amp)

I will like to show you something else in our passage above today. According to Websters’ Ninth New Collegiate Dictionary “holding” means having the effect of holding back or delaying something. Then the word “faith” means to “put out into view”.

Putting these meanings together to explain “holding forth” means what you put out in view has the effect of delaying something. From our text, “holding forth the word of life” means when we put into view the word of life, it holds back or has the effect of delaying something.

In the context in which the scripture appeared, when we bring the word of God into public view, it holds back darkness. Glory to God! What happens when darkness is held back? Light shines forth.

Therefore, do not hide the word of God, bring it out into public view and you will shine in this world.

Confession:

I am not ashamed of the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, it is the power of God unto Salvation. This light of mine, I will let it shine!

Let your light shine

Philippians “2:16 “Holding forth the word of life…” “holding out [to it] and offering [to all men] the word of life…” (Amp).

The scriptures says you are to let your light shine for men to see. What is the light of the believer that this world needs to see?

Mark4:20,21 reveals that a life that the word is yielding fruit by the word can be likened to a candle that is lit and put on a candle stick so that it gives light.

The context of our scripture for meditation also reveals that it is by holding forth the word of life that an individual will shine like a star in a crooked and perverse generation.
What is the implication of this to you as a believer?

It means, even though you go to church and are born again, if you are not a doer of the word of God, if the word is not yielding fruit in your life, there is no light that you are giving out.

Confession:

I am a candle that is lit, and my light is burning bright because the word is working in my life.

Answer Back!

Mark11:23 “For verily I say unto you, that whosoever shall say to this mountain. Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have what soever he saith”.

The second word used for say in the above passage is the word “epo” (Greek). This means to answer, bid, bring word call or command. Here, the implication is that you are answering back a situation, speaking to a situation or circumstance or commanding, “Jesus answered and said unto it …” (Mark 11:14)

When situations arise in your life that are negative, you are to answer back because those situation are speaking to you. When symptoms arise on your body, you are to answer back the same way Jesus answered the tree.

Speaking to the mountain is like answering back at negative situations in your life.

Confession:
I boldly say, the Lord is my helper, therefore I cannot be defeated.

Setting the course of your life

Mark11:23 “For verily I say unto you, that whosoever shall say to this mountain. Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have what soever he saith”.

There are two major words used for the words ‘say’ and ‘saith’ and these two words show different ways of expressing our faith through our words.

The first word for ‘say’ is the greek word ‘logo’ which means to lay forth or to set out or to relate in a systematic discourse. It implies this is the aspect of your words of confession that you use to set out the direction, the course of your life.

In Mark 5:28 speaking of the woman with the issue of blood “… for she kept on saying…” (amp).

This is a repetitive action. It is not a once and for all kind of speaking. This is more like a daily confession and it is used to set the course of your life.

Confession:

I believe therefore I speak continually

Seeing clearly

2 Cor. 2:11 “Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.”

We are still examining the strategies the devil uses that enable him to destroy or devour people. From John 10:10 “ we saw that the first thing he does is to steal the word.

The second thing is to kill”. The word for ‘kill’ here is an interesting word. It is the word “thou” and it is properly translated “to breathe hard” “to blow smoke”.

What does smoke do? It prevents you from seeing clearly or perceiving accurately. When you don’t  see clearly or perceive accurately, then you can be taken advantage of or you can walk into danger and be destroyed.

Anyone that the word has been stolen from is not seeing clearly, is under a smoke screen and is heading for destruction. When you are not seeing a situation the way God sees them, you might be under a smokescreen and heading for destruction.

Confession:

I see as God sees and so I am not deceived. God has opened my eyes to know what is the hope of His calling, therefore I give no room to the devil. I cannot be devoured by the enemy

Thursday, May 12, 2016

The devil has been exposed

2 Cor. 2:11 “Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.”

One thing that comes out very clear is that everyone is naked before God (Hebrews 4:12,13), and that includes the devil. The devil and his ways are completely exposed and made naked by the word of God. This is why we can avoid being taken in by him or his having the advantage over us or we being devoured by him.

Our text shows us that he can get the advantage over us, if we are ignorant of his strategies. So what are the strategies, devices or tactics he uses?

“The thief  cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy…” (John 10:10)

The passage reveals Satan’s strategies that enables him to destroy.

Firstly, he steals, stealing is what opens the door for other things like killing and destroying to take place. What does he steal? The word (Mathew13:19).

It is the absence of the word or a refusal of the word that opens the door for his next action.

Therefore make up your mind today, that your life will not be empty of the word of God.

Confession:

I will give attention to God’s word. I desire the word of God more than my necessary food. I will let the word dwell in me richly.

God is faithful

“Have faith in God…”

When we talk about having faith in the character of God, in who He is there is a lot to talk about. But I will address just one more.

Deuteronomy 7:9
“Know therefore that the Lord thy God, He is God, the faithful God…”

God is faithful. What does this mean to your faith?

“….for He (God) Himself has said, I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support[I will] not, [I will] not, [I will] not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor let [you] down [relax my hold on you] [Assuredly not!]. Hebrew 13:5 (amp).

This is what the faithfulness of God and you will never be the same again! This does something to your faith!

Confession:
Whatever comes my way I can win over it because my God is faithful. He will never leave me or forsake me.

The goodness of God

“Have faith in God…”

Another character of God in His goodness”. Truly God is good to Israel, even to such as are of a clean heart”

Understanding that God is good, means to have faith in His goodness . If God is only good, all you are to expect from Him should be good. This defines what you allow in your life and what you do not allow.

Some people think God is trying to teach them a lesson when they are afflicted with some sickness or disease or when some bad things happens. But when your faith is in His goodness, that is what you attract to your life, goodness.

Psalm 31:19 says “Oh how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee, which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men”.

Confession:
God has wrought already for me goodness because I trust in Him. I have faith in His goodness

God is light!

Mark 11:22 “Have faith in God…”

We are still meditating on the above text. So far we understand this to means have faith in the character of God.

Oswald chambers said “Faith is deliberate confidence in the character of God whose ways you may not understand at the time”.

So let us examine another of God’s character. “…God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all”. (1John1:5). How do you relate this to faith? The scriptures say in God who is light there is no darkness at all. It therefore becomes a contradiction for you to have faith in God and still believe that God is responsible for your sickness, disease or lack in your life.

What comes out of light? “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning”. (James 1:17)

Have faith in God! Have faith in Light!

Confession:

I am in the light of God I walk in the light, as He is in the light I do not have fellowship with things of darkness, they are not allowed in my life

Having faith in God

Mark 11:22 “Have faith in God…”

We are still meditating on “Have faith in God…”. Yesterday I said, it means to have faith in who He is, not what He can do.

One word to describe who He is – character. So, in practical terms, to have faith in who God is, is to have faith in His character. What then is the character of God?

Firstly, God is love. That means to have faith in God is love, have faith in Love. If He is Love, then as 1Cor.13 says He is patient and kind towards you. - The New Living Translation.

Commenting on 1John 4:16 – 18, it says “His love will quiet your fears and give you confidence”. Glory to God! This is what faith in the love of God will do to you – quiet your fears and give you confidence.

This is why you have to believe in the love of God (1John 4:16). Have faith in God! Have faith in His love for you.

Confession:

God loves me. He loves me enough to bless me, heal me, provide for me, protect me from all harm. I believe in His love for me. Hallelujah

God cannot lie

Mark 11:22 “Have faith in God…”

Have faith in God means just that! Have faith in God, not in a man, not a system not anything man made. You must remember that God is not a man that He should lie neither the son of man that he should repent or change His mind.

So having faith in God is having faith in someone who cannot and would not lie.

It also means our faith has to be His character rather than in His works, in who He is rather than what He can do. This is because, what God can do comes out of who He is. This is why the scriptures say, He that cometh to God must believe that He is,  not because that He can do.

Therefore when you don’t see His works, you are not perturbed because you know who He is has not changed, therefore you cannot be consumed. (Malachi 1:6)

Confession:

I lift up mine eyes unto the hills from where cometh my help, my help comes from the LORD. I look to the Lord only.

Take up the shield of faith

Eph 6:16
“Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked”.

When it comes to the subject of faith, many still lack an understanding, which is, it is your responsibility to do something about it. You cannot pray to God “O God, give me faith”. He has given you already. The scriptures say we have all been given a measure of faith (Rom 12:3). So you take your shield and put it up.

How? You ask? Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God. So, take up the shield of faith make the effort to receiving the word of God into your heart until faith rises up like a shield to put out the fiery darts of the wicked.

If you do not do this yourself, the shield will not be put up. This is why some people end up been hit by the enemy. But you do not have to be hit, take up the shield of faith!

Confession:
I put my shield in place because I give attention to hearing the word of faith.

BE A SOWER -2

The  second area of sowing is your words. Words also are seeds. Your words are seeds that goes to the soil of your heart and they will bring forth a harvest whether of life or of death. Your words will define where you end up. Therefore be a sower of good words.

“From the fruit of his lips a man is filled with good things…” Proverbs 12:14 NIV

The third area in which you sow is in your SUBSTANCE.  Sowing our substance is a sure way of lifting our lives out of any negative situation.

“While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest… shall not cease.” Genesis 8:22 KJV

The law of seedtime and harvest is the way to position yourself for all that God has for you in this life. This is because the seeds you sow will determine how far you will go and how high you will rise.
2 Corinthians 9:10-12

“For God, who gives seed to the farmer to plant, and later on good crops to harvest and eat, will give you more and more seed to plant and will make it grow so that you can give away more and more fruit from your harvest. Yes, God will give you much so that you can give away much, and when we take your gifts to those who need them they will break out into thanksgiving and praise to God for your help. So two good things happen as a result of your gifts-those in need are helped, and they overflow with thanks to God.” TLB

God always give seed to the sower. You may not always have what you need but you are never without seed at any point in time and once you have seed you will always come to having your needs supplied.

BE A SOWER

Genesis 8:22

“While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest… shall not cease.” KJV

There is a lot about seed sowing in the life of the believer. In fact everything we do revolves around it. Therefore it is something to be understood properly. Most times though when this subject is taught , it is always in the area of giving money but it is that and much more. I want to show you all the areas  you are to be a sower in.

1.     Be A Sower in THOUGHTS.

“For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he…” Proverbs 23:7 KJV

“A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.” Matthew 12:35 KJV

Everything in your life began as a thought, so that makes your thoughts seeds. So be careful the “thought seeds” you sow.

“Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? Matthew 6:25 KJV

Notice where the issues of what a man will eat, the clothes you put on and where you will be sheltered begin from – the mind area. Jesus said take no thought, so everything begins with the seed of thoughts. This is why you are enjoined in the Scriptures what to think:

“Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.” Philippians 4:8 KJV

NEVER STOP GIVING, INCLUDING THE GIVING OF THANKS

Psalm 25:12
“Where is the man who fears the Lord? God will teach him how to choose the best.” TLB
Receiving God’s best is not dependent on following a particular formula but having a defined lifestyle doing certain things. More of these things are:

6. Having an attitude of gratitude by:-
Thinking about one thing each day that you are grateful for, think about it all day and thank God aloud for it.
Start your day off with Psalm 136 every morning  for the next one  month.

Begin to thank God in advance for what you are believing Him for. This is the greatest expression of your faith.
Don’t magnify your problems, magnify what God has done.
“Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in everything, by prayer and petition ( definite requests), with thanksgiving, continue to make your wants known to God.” Phillipians 4:6 AMP

7. Never Stop giving.
“Therefore, as ye abound in every thing, in faith, and utterance, and knowledge, and in all diligence, and in your love to us, see that ye abound in this grace (of giving) also. 2Corinthians 8:7 KJV
Decide that you will be a giver.
Start where you are

Show God that you will be faithful. When He gives to you, give back to Him.

KEEP UNFORGIVENESS AND STRIFE OUT

Psalm 25:12
“Where is the man who fears the Lord? God will teach him how to choose the best.” TLB

Still on the manner of life you are to live if you want to continually experience God’s best. Yesterday, I said you should give God’s word first place, watch what you say with your mouth and live your life to please God. Today I want to give you four more things.

1.     Walk in love. As a Christian, if there is any one thing that should stand out more than any other, it is your love for people. Therefore, make §the decision to walk in love, release your faith by saying it out of your mouth that you are born to love and you can and will walk in love. Also subject your emotions to the word of God and confess daily that love of God rules your life.

“Regarding life together and getting along with each other, you don't need me to tell you what to do. You're God-taught in these matters. Just love one another!”  1Thess 4:9 MESSAGE
2.     Keep Unforgiveness and Strife out of your life.

“And become useful and helpful and kind to one another, tenderhearted (compassionate, understanding, loving-hearted), forgiving one another [readily and freely], as God in Christ forgave you.” Ephesians 4:32 AMP

“For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.” James 3:16 KJV
Decide daily that you will refuse to allow strife and unforgiveness into your heart.

Confess that you walk in the love of God daily, that it is your nature.

LIVING IN A MANNER PLEASING TO GOD

Psalm 25:12
“Where is the man who fears the Lord? God will teach him how to choose the best.” TLB
I interrupted the study of having God’s best to meditate on other things as the Holy Spirit directed but we are resuming today again still looking at the subject.  From today, I want to highlight some things that if you live your life this way, this is what you will experience:

Psalm 25:13
“He shall live within God's circle of blessing, and his children shall inherit the earth.” TLB
Did you see that? You will live within God’s circle of blessing! So, these are the things to do:

1.     Give God’s word first place in your life. That is, put priority on spending time with the word by starting your day with the word and seek what God’s word has to say on issues and do. “By your words I can see where I am going” Psalm 109:105 Message

2.     Watch your mouth. Your words are going to come to pass. Your tongue holds the power of life and death in it. You have to choose which it will be. Will it be life or death, will it be experiencing God’s best for your life or just managing to live?

“I'm determined to watch steps and tongue so they won't land me in trouble.”  Psalm 39:1  MESSAGE

3.     Live your life in a manner pleasing to God. God expects us to act like the new creation He has created us to become once we are born again. He expects His standards to become our standards, His purposes to become our purposes and his desires our desires. We are to love what He loves and despise what He despises.

“I beg you-I, a prisoner here in jail for serving the Lord-to live and act in a way worthy of those who have been chosen for such wonderful blessings as these.” Ephesians 4:1 TLB
