HOPE OF GLORY

Col 1:27

“To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.”

“To whom God was pleased to make known how great for the Gentiles are the riches of the glory of this mystery, which is Christ within and among you, the Hope of [realizing the] glory.” (AMP)

One definition of glory in the dictionary is “the height, the peak or zenith of prosperity and achievement”. The scriptures say Christ in you, anyone, irrespective of race, gender or whatever gives you the hope of getting to the zenith of life.

If Christ in you gives you the hope, then faith will make that hope a reality. This is because faith is responsible for making hope a reality. What I am saying today is that anyone in Christ has potential to be great, to be somebody, to be successful and to get to the top. It’s there in everyone that is in Christ Jesus, but what makes the difference is the faith of the individual.

In the book of Hebrews chapter Eleven we have a cataloguing of certain individuals who distinguished themselves by their faith. We call them heroes of faith. The distinguishing characteristic in them all was their faith. This is what living by faith will do to you also. It will distinguish you, set you apart and make you... https://www.amazon.ca/s/ref=nb_sb_noss…

FAITH TO CAST OUT DEVILS

Mark 16:15-18
And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues.”

One of the signs that follow a believer is to cast out devils. So you see that you need faith to cast out devils, yet some people think faith and ministering deliverance do not go together. Where is the place of faith in the ministry of deliverance?

Firstly, it is in the fact that you must believe the word concerning authority of the believer. That you the believer you have authority over the devil to cast him out.

Secondly, you must believe in what the word says concerning the devil that he has been brought to nothing, he has been disarmed and that he is where the word says he is regarding you, that is, under the believer’s feet.

Thirdly, you must believe that you are the righteousness of God and that you are righteous.

Fourthly, you must believe that when you speak to the devil and his demons they will obey you because the word says so.

Understand this, that there is nothing you can do in God without faith...https://www.amazon.ca/s/ref=nb_sb_noss…

OVERCOMING FORCE

“Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.” Ephesians 6:16

“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.” 1Peter 5:8&9

“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” James 4:7

Faith is an overcoming force and there is nothing or no one that can stand in faith’s way. When you look the passage in Ephesians, understand that it is referring to the devil because we have been told in earlier verses that we wrestle against principalities, powers, rulers of the darkness of this world and spiritual wickedness in high places.
But against all these, the scripture says when you have your faith intact; you can quench ALL the fiery darts of the wicked. Faith is given you to overcome hindrances of Satan of whatever form in your life. The testimony of the Scriptures is that when you resist the devil he will flee, when you put on your shield of faith you will quench all his fiery darts, but the key is “…resist (him) being steadfast in the faith…”
This is where people miss it because it is taking too long they say. But the Scripture never said resist him for one, two or ten years and then he will flee, it just said resist and he will flee. I need to tell you this because sometimes people ignore the devil and it is to their peril for the scripture does not ignore him and neither are we told in told to ignore him also.
The life of faith will overcome every hindrance of the devil no matter how...

FAITH AND PATIENCE

James 1:2-6

“My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.”

Some days back I mentioned that there are four things that are required to bring one out of situations that seemingly are long lasting. I have spoken about the combination of faith and joy, wisdom and faith, let us look at faith and patience. I believe I have dealt with this before, but I believe to make these series of meditation complete, I will examine that again.
I heard someone call faith and patience the power twins because in most places you see them side-by-side. That is where you hear one being mentioned, the other is also mentioned if not directly, indirectly. Understand this that patience as it is used in Scripture does not mean to endure the situation; rather it means to remain consistent in the midst of the situation.
Peter speaks of being steadfast in the faith while resisting the devil, that steadfastness of your faith is enabled by patience. The bible also says it was through faith and patience the fathers of old inherited the promise and so it tells you that:

“For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.” Hebrews 10:36

The Scriptures say when you allow patience to have her complete work, you will end up with the promise. James says you will...

CONFESSION: I WILL BE PATIENT. I WILL ALLOW PATIENCE TO HAVE HER PERFECT WORK IN ME THIS DAY.
