SIN CONSCIOUSNESS

Rom 8:1-3
“There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh.”

Another thing that can weaken faith is sin consciousness. Being sin conscious or allowing the enemy to keep you under condemnation does nothing to help a man be strong in faith. This is one of Satan’s tactics of making people to lose out in their faith walking experience, keeping under condemnation.

The scripture says there is NO CONDEMNATION to those who are in Christ Jesus. What I normally say is that, what ever you did wrong is none of Satan’s business, it is between you and God. So, confess it and get it out of the way. Once you have done so, do not let Satan keep you under condemnation, tell him it is not his business and he will shut up.

However it is important, that you endeavor not to make sin a lifestyle. Your faith will be weakened by a life of sin so stay out of sin.
