Mark 11:24 “Therefore what things soever ye desire when ye pray believe that you receive them and you shall have them”

There are different kinds of prayer and each of them operates under different circumstances and with different rules. Here I want to draw your attention to the prayer of faith.

Mark 11:23 “For verily I say unto you, that whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea, and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass, he shall have whatsoever he saith”.

When I speak to the mountain as Jesus spoke in the above passage, the dynamics at work is faith, grace and the power of the spirit. When

Righteousness of faith

Romans 10:6 “But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise…”

There is a righteousness of faith. What is it? Righteousness means right standing, therefore what I am saying is, there is a right – standing that comes of faith. This is different than the right standing that comes of faith. This is different than the right-standing that comes by the law.

Having a revelation of the new creation is something that also affects your faith walk. You are a new creation means you never existed

“For when God made promise to Abraham, because He could swear by no greater, He sware by Himself. Wherein God, willing more abundantly to shew unto the heirs of promise the immutability of His counsel, confirmed it by an oath”

The place of the word of God in walk of faith cannot be overemphasized. Without the word of God, there is no possibility for faith.

1 Timothy 6:12 “Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life…”

As we conclude on our meditation on the above text, I want to draw your attention to what the faith fight enables you to do 

“…lay hold on eternal…”. 

This does not mean heaven by the way. You become a citizen of heaven, the day Jesus came into your life. But to lay hold on

The bible calls the faith walk a fight. What is the meaning of that? Now I want you to understand that it did not call it a struggle. That is what it looks like to some people – a struggle. They are struggling to live the life.

There are two things that are birthed in you when you believe that Jesus is the Christ. One is a relationship with God Almighty. The second is a faith that overcomes the world.

Yesterday, we began looking at helpers of our faith, that is things that help our faith work better. We looked at love of our faith. In continuing on love, let me point your attention to something Jesus said:

Our focus is on the last part of our text, “…the just shall live by his faith.”

I want you to know this is so vital that it is repeated three more times in scripture. (Rom.1:17, Gal.3:11 and Heb. 10:38)

It is important to God that you know this and that you will live by your faith. It is not the faith of your Pastor, your husband or wife that you will

We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because that your faith groweth exceedingly…(2 Thessalonians 1:3 KJV)

Pau said of the saints in Thessalonica that their faith groweth exceedingly. This means your faith can grow and grow exceedingly. 

Where will such faith come from or how can you

When it comes to the love of God or rather God’s love for His people, too many people think or believe as though this love stopped after coming into the knowledge of Jesus as Saviour.

You have faith! Do you know that? This is what the scripture above reveals; every man has been dealt a measure of faith by God.  The second thing is that your faith is working.

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Faith is Now! Faith is not tomorrow, it is now! 

To have victory in life, you must understand the “now” factor of faith, that is, living in the now of the word of God.

We have come to the last leg in our study from moving from desire to possession, that is, ABCDE of Bible faith. The last letter in the study is ‘E’ which stands for expectation.
