FAITH COMETH...

Romans 10: 17 “So then faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God”

I want you to see something from this scripture:

If the scripture says faith cometh, then it means faith was not present. But the scripture says, we all have been given the measure of faith (Rom12:3) and that we are saved by faith (Eph2:8).

So how come you say faith is not present? You need to understand that the faith that cometh is referring to the faith needed in that particular situation. Let us say the faith for healing. It can only come by hearing the word of God on healing. Therefore, whatever your situation is, hear the word of God on it and you will have faith that will bring you victory in that situation.

Confession for today:
I am hearing the word of God; therefore faith has come to me now. I have faith in God and I am victorious.

Prayer: May you be strengthened by the spirit of God unto faith for victory in Jesus name.

FAITH COMES BEFORE FEELING

Mark 5:29 “And straight way the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague.”

Faith comes before feeling. A lot of times people want to feel it first before they believe they are healed. You see faith comes before feeling.

If you are waiting to feel it first, faith is not present. You have to believe you are healed first before you feel healed.

You have to believe you are filled with the Holy Ghost first before you can speak in other tongues. You have to believe you are prosperous first before you feel prosperity.

In our text the woman was healed first before she felt healing in her body.

Confession for today:
I believe right now according to God’s word I am blessed. I am healed and I am prosperous. It is not according to how I feel or what I see but according to God’s word.

Prayer:
As you have believed so shall it be unto you in Jesus name.

THE PRAYER OF FAITH

James 5:15 “And the prayer of faith shall save the sick…”

There are different types of prayers. One type of prayer does not fit every situation. But there is a type of prayer that I believe is the most often type that the average believer prays.

It is the prayer of faith. Though we endeavor to pray it but we do not fulfill all things that make this prayer get an answer.

For you to get results when you pray, take note of these:

1. Find out what the will of God is
2. Get scriptures that promise you what you desire
3. Take those scriptures as a basis for your request
4. Continue to thank God until you see manifestation.

Confession for today:
I believe I received what I have prayed for now.

Prayer:
May the Lord grant unto you the petition that you have raised unto him this day.

USE YOUR FAITH!

1 John 5:4 (msg) “ Every God begotten person conquers the world’s ways. The conquering power that brings the world to its knees is our faith.”

Yes you read it correctly. Faith is the conquering power that brings the world (meaning the systems of the world and the ways) to its knees and subdued under you and your faith.  Yes your faith in God and His word. The devil does not bow to your degrees, or physical strength or riches. No!

What brings the devil and the systems of the world to their knees is your faith in God. So begin to use it, grow it, therein lies your victory.

Confession for today:
I have the victory right now because I believe God!

Prayer:
The Lord bruise Satan, sickness and disease under your feet now in Jesus name!

FAITH IS A NECESSITY!

Habakkuk 2:4 “…but the just shall live by faith.”

You are to live by your faith dear child of God.

This means you cannot live by your pastor’s faith, your husband’s faith, your wife’s faith and your parents’ faith. You live by your faith.

To what extent is faith necessary in our lives? The scriptures say we are saved through faith [Eph.2: 8], stand by faith [2Cor.1: 24], walk by faith [2Cor5: 7] pray in faith [James1: 7], resist the devil by faith [1Peter5: 8], etc.

Every aspect of our human existence in God is by faith.

Confession for today:
I am just and I live by faith.

Prayer:
Thank God for the ability to believe.

FAITH MAKES WHOLE!

Mark 5:34 “And He said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole…”

Faith in God will make whole. It will bring wholeness to your spirit, soul and body. There are some characteristics of such a faith.

You must respond to what you have heard, you must reach out to God, you must speak out, be ready to do what you normally could not do before and glorify God even before you see the answer.

Confession for today:
I have faith in God, and my faith brings wholeness to me in every area.

Prayer:
Be made whole today in Jesus name! Receive your wholeness right now!

HE IS A REWARDER!

Hebrews 11:6 “ But without faith it is impossible to please God for he that cometh to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.”

One very important thing you must understand in your relationship with God is that – it is to better your life. It is to add to you, not take away from you. You will profit by it; it will not bring you loss.

This must be absolute in your heart. If it is not so with you, then you are not in faith. Why? You may ask. The scripture says when you come to God; you must believe that He is a rewarder. That is, He is a blesser, not a taker. He will add to you, not take from you. This is faith!

Confession for today:
God is a rewarder. He rewards me. Today He will reward me, add to me, and bless me!

Prayer:
The Lord increase you and make your today ten times better than your yesterday in Jesus name.

A GOOD REPORT

Hebrews 11: 4 “By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain…”

The faith of God in you is given to you so that you excel in life.

Faith makes a man to excel. The scripture say by faith the elders obtained a good report. You do not obtain a good report if you have not done well. But faith in God makes a man to do well in life, to excel in life.

You cannot exercise faith in God and end up a failure. No, a thousand times No! That is why in the Bible you have a chapter dedicated to Heroes of faith not zeroes of faith. Glory to God!

Confession for today:
My faith in God will take me to the top. I will excel in life because I cannot believe in a great God and end up small.

Prayer:
The Lord increase you, enlarge you, and lift you high today in Jesus name.

USE YOUR MEASURE OF FAITH

Romans 1:17
“ For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, the just shall live by faith.”

The just, that is, the believer in Jesus Christ shall live by faith not by his education or lack of it. Not by the salary he makes. The just shall live by faith.

Faith is the ingredient that makes the just into everything that God designed him to be. This is why the scripture says without faith it is impossible to please God. You have been given a measure of this faith, so begin now to use it.

Confession for today:
I am a child of God, therefore I am just and I have faith. It is natural for me to live by faith. The faith life is not a struggle for me.

Prayer:
May the seed of God that is in you bear fruit for victory in you today in Jesus name.

CHOOSE TO BELIEVE GOD

Mark 9:23 “Jesus said unto him, if thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth”

‘If’ implies you have a choice. Do you choose to believe that God can do what He said He will do?

Faith is a choice. You will have to choose. Choosing to believe is a life style of choosing to hear, speak and act on the word of God over and over again in every circumstance every day.

Choosing to believe God is an everyday challenge. Choose to believe God today!

Confession for today:
I choose to believe God that it shall be unto me as God’s word has said it would be

Prayer:
Be it unto you according as you have believed, in Jesus name.

WHO GOD IS…

Hebrews 11:6 “But without faith it is impossible to please God, for he that cometh to God must believe that He is…”

For faith to be strong, it must be in “who God is” and not in what God can do. When your faith is in “God is”, you know that wherever your “God is” and so He can do. He can bring you out. He can be God in the fire, out of the fire. He can be God on the mountain and He can be in the valley.

He can be God when the symptoms exist or when the body seems dead. The faith that sustains you in crises is a faith that is based on who God is.

Confession for today:
I believe God is. And because He is the One that is, every challenging situation will have to flee.

Prayer:
May the God 'who is' manifest for you now in Jesus.

KEEP YOUR FAITH FRESH!

Hebrews 3:7-8
“Wherefore as the Holy Ghost saith, today if ye will hear His voice, harden not your hearts…”

We have to take care that we are not found at the place where the word of God we hear ‘today’ does not birth fresh faith in us in the now of our lives because of what we are going through.

If you want to keep your faith fresh, do not visit the ‘tombs’ of your life rather look at the places of resurrections, your victories.

Confession for today:
The word of God is alive, therefore my faith is alive, fresh and working.

Prayer:
I pray for you that you be strengthened with might in your spirit and that Christ may dwell in your heart by faith. A faith that is alive that produces results

FAITH IS A NATURAL RESPONSE

Hebrews11: 6
“But without faith it is impossible to please God, for he that cometh to God…”

The word of God that a man hears should always produce a response (of faith) toward God. Therefore, if there is no response of faith in your heart toward God in a particular situation you are in, check on what you have been and are listening to. This is because faith is a natural response for anyone who gives himself to hearing what God’s word says in any situation. The Bible said of the woman with the issue of blood when she had heard of Jesus… came in the press… and touched Him. (Mk.5: 27)

Confession for today:
When thou said to me seek my face, my heart responds to you. Your face, O Lord will I seek.

Prayer:
You will prosper today because you have responded to the pull of God on your heart in Jesus name.

ARE YOU EXPECTING?

Acts 3:5 “And he gave heed unto them expecting to receive something of them.”

One definite sign that you are in faith is that your faith puts you in an expectant state. To be expectant is to be in a prepared state of mind to receive manifestation. When you are in that state you will keep yourself in close contact or proximity to where what you are expecting will come from.

The scriptures said “and he gave heed unto them…” His attention was on them not anywhere else. You cannot be expecting from God and give attention to any other.

“I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills from when cometh my help” (Ps121: 1). This is someone who is expecting from God.

Confession for today:
My expectation shall not be disappointed today. Surely there is a reward for me today.

Prayer:
As you have believed so shall it be done to you today in Jesus name.

WATCH WHAT YOU DWELL ON!

Philippians 4:8
“Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.”

You cannot believe above your thoughts. What you dwell on in your thoughts will affect what you believe and how you believe. Right thinking will produce right believing. In order to think right, obey the text above.

What you can dwell on that fulfills the word of God are stated therein. So dwell on it, not on your problems and you will be able to believe your way out

Confession for today:
I have the word of Christ. I have been given the spirit of love, power and a sound mind. I think rightly and I believe rightly.

Prayer:
In Jesus name, I speak soundness and stability to your mind. You will be able to conceive divine thoughts and ideas in Jesus name.

MOVE FROM HOPE TO FAITH!

Hebrews11: 1 “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for…”

Sometimes you hear people say they hope their prayer was answered. The scriptures said, “ when you pray believe that you receive them…” not hope.

Though hope is necessary in the life of a believer, in fact, it is strength to have hope. But after you prayed for something, you have to move from hope to faith. Hope is futuristic, but faith is now!

Confession for today:
I believe I receive my heart desire now

Prayer:
I pray for you that your heart be enlarged to receive that which has been prepared for you.

LEARN TO BE PATIENT!

Hebrews 6:12 “That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.”

Impatience is really a lack of faith for the scriptures say he that believeth shall not make haste. What gives faith staying power is patience. It will take the working together of the two for you to possess or inherit the promises in the word.

Confession for today:
I am a believer and I am not hasty. I am patient, I can be patient and I will be patient.

HE IS FAITHFUL!

Galatians 2:20
“… The life I now live in flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God…”

How do we live by the faith of the Son of God and not by our faith? I believe sometimes in our lives what keeps us going is because  we understand that “He who has called us is faithful towards us.”  That is, He believes in us. It is because He has faith in us that keeps us going.  At such times, we are sustained by the faith of the Son of God who loved us and is loving us right now.

Confession for today:
I live by the faith of the Son of God who loved me and still loves me right now.

Prayer:
I am sustained by the faith of the Son of God in Jesus name

INTEGRITY OF GOD'S WORD!

Hebrews 6:18 “That by two immutable things in which it was impossible for God to lie …”

For your faith to be strong and productive, one thing you must believe in is the integrity of God’s word. That is, God’s word is dependable, reliable, unchangeable and trustworthy.

That God is not a man, if He says a thing, He means it and He will do it and make it good. This must be settled in you

BENEFITS OF CONFESSION

Hebrews 10:23 (ASV) “ Let us hold fast the confession of our hope that it waver not: for He is faithful that promised.”

Here are some benefits of confession: It is a declaration of your choice. It helps you maintain your ground and it helps to put a focus on your faith.

Confession is what leads to possession and it gives your angels something to work with.

Confession for today:

BELIEVE!

John 6:29 “Jesus answered and said unto them, this is the work of God, that ye believe on Him whom He hath sent”

The most important thing you can do for yourself as a New Testament saint is to ‘believe’. You have to know what it means to believe and perfect the art and science of believing. Then you will enter the bliss of what God has prepared for you in Jesus Christ and your life will enter a new world – a world of possibilities.

Confession for today:
