Faith and love

Galatians 5:6
“For [if we are] in Christ Jesus, neither circumcision nor uncircumcision counts for anything, but only faith activated and energized and expressed and working through love.” AMP

As we continue our thought from yesterday, I want you to see Paul’s expression of the working relationship between faith and love. Paul says four things in the working relationship between faith and love.

Firstly, he says our faith has to be activated by love, expressed and working through love. But then he also said something that
I want you to look at more closely. He said faith energized by love. The word energized here implies an extra charge given to a faith when it is accompanied by love.

Let me illustrate it this way. Let’s say you want to go across a body of water. When faith is not accompanied by love is like you crossing with a paddle boat but when you accompany your faith with love is like you crossing with a speed boat that has a turbo engine. Now which one will get to the other side faster? You know this just describes the faith experience of some people. When a healing could take maybe a day to manifest, it takes weeks because they are walking in and out of love. Decide to walk in love today.
