Trustfulness

Hebrews 11:1
“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”
Another aspect in which faith is seen as a fruit is “trustfulness” as it it is translated in the Jerusalem Bible. The fruit of faith in this aspect may be defined as a quiet, steady, unwavering trust in the goodness, wisdom, and faithfulness of God.

Trust or trustfulness is a quality characteristic of children and yet it is also a quality found in spiritually mature people because it is affected by innocence and longevity of relationship at the same time.
The person who has cultivated this fruit has an unshakeable confidence that God is in complete control of every situation and that in and through all circumstances, His purpose will worked out.

This makes the person unperturbed and remains calm and restful irrespective of what is going on. The outward expression of this kind of fruit is stability.
“They that trust in the Lord shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever. As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the Lord is round about his people from henceforth even for ever.” Psalm 125:1,2

So it is with the believer who has learned to trust. Others all around him may give way to confusion and panic but he remains calm and secure. Cultivate trust today.
