Eph 6:16
“Above
all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the
fiery darts of the wicked”.
When
it comes to the subject of faith, many still lack an understanding, which is,
it is your responsibility to do something about it. You cannot pray to God “O
God, give me faith”. He has given you already. The scriptures say we have all
been given a measure of faith (Rom 12:3). So you take your shield and put it
up.
How?
You ask? Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God. So, take up
the shield of faith make the effort to receiving the word of God into your
heart until faith rises up like a shield to put out the fiery darts of the
wicked.
If
you do not do this yourself, the shield will not be put up. This is why some
people end up been hit by the enemy. But you do not have to be hit, take up the
shield of faith!

I put my shield in place because I give
attention to hearing the word of faith.
