Romans 4:20 “He
staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith,
giving glory to God.”
One more thought on what will enable your
faith to remain strong. Let us go back to our text. From our text above, we
realize PRAISE also will make a man’s faith strong. Let us examine our text in
the amplified translation of the bible.
“…but he grew strong and was empowered by
faith as he gave praise and glory to God”
You cannot praise God and remain weak in
your faith. Praise will strengthen you because praise will shift your attention
from the problem and put it on God. The more you focus on God the stronger your
faith gets. This is what happened to Abraham. The Scriptures say he (Abraham)
grew strong as he praised and glorified God.
What about you friend? Would you exchange
your worry for praise today? Every time you are tempted to worry, stop in your
tracks and give praise to God and you will discover that rather than your faith
weakening because of worry it gets stronger.
Confession/Prayer:
I will praise you Lord, with every breath
that I take. I will praise you Lord this promise I make . When eternity ends
and starts all over again, even then I will praise you Lord.
