YOUR HEART AND YOUR MOUTH

1 Tim.6:12 “Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life…”

Faith has to be in two places to be faith – your heart and your mouth. You use your heart to believe and your mouth to speak.

So that is where your faith fight takes place. It begins in your believing. To believe right you have to think right, this means the fight of faith starts with your thoughts. Once the devil defeats you in your thoughts area, you will be defeated in your believing. 

The way not to accept those negative thoughts of the devil is not to say them with your mouth. Jesus said, take no thoughts saying… The way you accept thoughts is when...

Confession: I think only thoughts that agree with God’s words.

Prayer: I cast down every negative thought that exalts itself against the word of God.
