6:12 “Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life…”
We
are still examining the fight of faith. Yesterday we saw that fight has to be
in two places to be faith and that is where the fight of faith takes
place.
Today
the second place of the fight of faith is in
your words. Two things the enemy tries to make us do here to defeat us:
1. He tries to make us say the wrong things – things contrary
to what God’s word says
2. He tries to shut our mouths so, that we do not speak at
all.
Both
are inimical to your well being. Watch what you say and never face the devil
with closed mouth. For with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. So
speak!
Confession: I
will boldly say, God is my helper. I will be helped, I will not be put to
shame.
