James 1:6,7 “But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord”
The reason some people do not receive is just that they waver. It means to fluctuate in your faith, belief. You waver when you
allow yourself to be distracted from the word, you are not as focused on the word as you used to be and this gives room to the enemy to plant seeds of doubt in you.
Therefore, take hold of your thought life and give an undivided attention to the word of God.
I have set my face like a flint on God’ word, I shall not be distracted and I shall not waver

I commend you unto God and to the words of His grace and by it may you come into your inheritance in Jesus’ name.
