Walking by faith

2 Cor 5:7
“For we walk by faith [we regulate our lives and conduct ourselves by our conviction or belief respecting man's relationship to God and divine things, with trust and holy fervor; thus we walk] not by sight or appearance.” AMP

There are a lot of activities happening in these times around us calling us to pay attention to them rather than the word of God. If there is a need to live by the above scripture more than ever before , it is now. I mean this times call for us to live by faith and not by sight or appearance for the things that we see were
not made out of the things that do appear. What is living by faith and not by sight?

The amplified translation has given us the clue; it is regulating your life and conduct by your conviction or belief in God. That is the only conviction that will see man through in these times. It is also a conviction and belief in the word of God as the only answer to the situation and circumstances of life. It is the word that is settled forever, every other thing changes and will change.

Another way that passage can be read is “We walk by faith and not by our senses”. Sense knowledge  faith as opposed to heart faith needs physical evidences in order to believe. That is what we see with our physical eyes, what we can touch or feel and what we hear with our physical ears. This is living by appearance or sight.

To live by heart faith, you have to depend only on the word of God absolutely. If the word does not say it then it is not for you no matter the pressure. So make up your mind today, it is only the word of God that you will regulate your life by.

CONFESSION: I LIVE BY FAITH AND NOT BY MY SENSES. I AM A WORD LED< WORD RULED BELIEVER. THE WORD OF GOD ALONE IS MY SUSTENANCE AND MY CONFIDENCE.
