The use of faith

Mark 11:22-24

“And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.  Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.”

It seemed like Jesus broke the use of faith down to two major things: Firstly, it is to get stuff you don’t want but are already in your life out, “…that whosoever shall say to this mountain, be thou removed…”. Secondly, it is to get stuff you want in, “…what things soever ye desire, when ye pray…”
Some people will feel guilty that that is all their faith is for but there is nothing to be guilty about because these words came out of the lips of Jesus. Faith will get things out of your life, this means there is nothing that the enemy brings your way that you cannot get rid off. Be they bad habits, sin, sickness, failure, poverty and lack and it does not matter how long or complex such things have been, you can get rid of them.
Now, it is interesting that when it comes to getting rid of things, Jesus said you should just speak to those things and they will obey you. Now when it comes to getting stuff that you want, whether they are spiritual material, physical or financial, Jesus said you should pray to Him, come and ask him for it. James said people receive not because they ask not, and Jesus said some where else ask and receive so that your joy may be full.
