Hebrews
11:33 “Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained
promises, stopped the mouth of lions”.
Let
us pursue this thought further. How do you use your faith to work
righteousness?
“Likewise
reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God
through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Roms 6:11
Remember
11 Pet. 1:3 says you have been given promises for life or living and godliness.
So if you are having problems with sin in your life, you appropriate promises
like Romans 6:11.
It
says reckon, which means count yourself dead to that sin – how? By faith! That
means you keep believing and saying that you’re dead to that sin even when it
seems you are in the grip of it. And before you know it, you are walking free.
