Faith is active

Hebrews 11:1
“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”

Faith is active. The word active means characterized by action rather than contemplation or speculation. It also means being disposed to action. Here I will like you to know that even though at times the word belief and
faith are sometimes used inter changeably, in reality, they are not exactly.

This is the way I can explain it to you, believing is the passive aspect of faith while faith, the real faith is the active part of it.

Faith also is an attitude. Your attitude is the lens through which you view life according to John Maxwell. The scriptures say, it is by faith that we understand how the worlds were made.

So if you are not looking at things through the lens of faith, you will see things in the world all wrong. Someone is asking where does it say that? Hebrews 11:3, “by faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God.” Put on the lens of faith and begin to see the world and things in the world through that lens and a lot of things that look mysterious won’t be anymore.
