How to be strong in faith

Romans 4:20
“He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God.”

How do you measure that your faith is strong. Or let me ask it in another way. How do you know that you are strong in faith? The very first evidence that you are strong in faith is that you are strong in the word.

Notice the scripture says that Abraham was fully persuaded about the promise. You cannot have strong faith without being strong in the word of God. You cannot pray yourself to be strong neither can you
fast yourself to be strong, you have to be strong in the word of God in other to be strong in faith. This is because faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God.

There are believers who do not spend good quality time in the word of God and are expecting their faith to be strong when satan attacks them. I am sure you are not one of them.

Listen: NO WORD EQUALS NO FAITH. SMALL WORD EQUALS SMALL FAITH AND GOOD QUALITY WORD EQUALS STRONG FAITH.

“…I have written unto you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you and you have overcome the wicked one.” (1John 2:14)

“…and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.” (1John 5:4)

CONFESSION:
I am strong in the word. I am strong in faith.
