Romans 10: 17 “So then faith cometh by hearing and
hearing by the word of God”
Still studying this passage further, you notice it says faith cometh, by hearing and hearing…. It did not say faith cometh by having
heard. This means that you have to keep your faith fresh.
The way you do that
is by hearing – present
continuous. Some people are trying to live on
yesterday’s faith, what they heard yesterday, last week. No you have to keep
your faith fresh by hearing constantly, continuously. So that whenever the
adversities of life come, you will be ready.
Confession for today:
I have a living faith. My faith in God is alive and well.
Prayer:
May your faith be quickened in you today by this word, the same way the baby in Elizabeth’s womb leaped when she heard the greeting of Mary.
