THE WORD OF FAITH

     Habakkuk 2:4

    “Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.”

      I want to give you some reasons why the word of faith is very important to your existence as a Christian so that you can pay adequate attention to its development in your Christian experience.

      Firstly, according to Ephesians 2:8, you are (were) saved by it.

       Secondly, without it, it is impossible to please God. (Hebrews 11:6) Pleasing God is something every well-meaning sincere believer wants to do, but this CANNOT happen without faith.

       Thirdly, from our text above, we see that we LIVE by faith. If we are to live by faith and we do not know faith that means we are actually not living. Some Christians can therefore be called the living dead. Faith is the breath of the believer.
