The word HAVE means to locate. The bible say when you work you will locate, what will you locate? Of course money. God has designed work as an avenue to locating something – finances
In essence your work becomes your field, and you need to understand that, because if you don’t understand that, you will be looking at some where
else to reap the harvest.
In Luke 5: 1-6 Peter sowed a seed of his boat for the master to use; when the master wanted to bring back his harvest He did not take him outside of his field to give him a harvest.. he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep..” In Matt 17:27 “Notwithstanding, lest we should offend them, go thou to the sea, and cast an hook, and take up the fish that first cometh up; and when thou hast opened his mouth, thou shalt find a piece of money: that take, and give
Jesus sent Peter to the sea because that is His work. When you sow your seed what you are doing is obeying God and doing a spiritual part, but God is going to bring a harvest and it comes through my work. That is how your harvest comes, it is your field of sowing , field of harvest, your work is your calling from God, and that is the primary seed you are sowing into the life of men, its not just the evangelist or Prophet that has a calling.
How does this thing come?
Luke 5:38 “Give and it shall be given to ….shall men give to you…”. Who will measure it back to you? Men. So, in giving to men whatever you answer to in men, men will also do unto you; whatever you make happen for men, God will make happen for you.
2 Cor 9:10. ‘And God who provides seed for the sower and bread for eating will also provide and multiply your resources…” Resources means – a stock or supply of money, materials, Staff and other assets that can be drawn on by a person in order to function effectively. God gives you resources that enable you to sow and have harvest.
So, what you should be asking God for is the wisdom to cultivate your field. Do your field well and do well to men that are in your field; understand that these people are not your enemies they are your harvest ground. You cannot take kingdom values - walking in love, avoiding offence and bitterness out of these things because you cannot receive from people you are fighting with.
Don’t let yourself get carried away when ministers come to share their testimony of provision, that is their own field, you have your own- God will provide your for you in your field. Now, does God go outside of the norm? Yes He does. But, recognize that the exception will happen as at when God wills it to happen but the norm is what everyone has to work with
