TWO PARTS TO BREAKTHROUGH

Gen 27:39 “…and it shall come to pass when thou shalt have the dominion that thou shalt break his yoke off your neck”

Heb. 11:20 “By faith Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau concerning things to come...”

There are two parts to having your season of breakthrough come upon you. The first part is the blessing that comes through the anointing of the Holy Spirit and the second part is living consistently by the word. The second part sets you up for the first, and it is the two together that brings the breakthrough season upon you and makes it your own.

Living consistently by the word 

“ …by thy sword , you shall live and serve your brother but the time shall come when you will grow restive and break loose and you shall tear his yoke from off your neck.”Gen.27:39 amp.

Esau was a hunter who use bows and arrows; his father shouldn’t have said ‘by your sword’ you will live. So prophetically, he was talking about New Testament Christians who are under bondage of the devil and don’t understand that there is a blessing upon them, that will break them out of that bondage.

The sword of the New Testament believer is the word of God. In order words “By the word you will live”. You live by the word; living consistently by the word has only one end, it lands you in your season - a place you can call a break through. And; when you live by the sword, a time will come when you become restive and say no to things!

The idea some of us have of this breakthrough is that there is a sudden thing that happens and takes care of our problems but that is not how it happens, there is a background of consistency that the ‘suddenly’ stands upon. When there is a platform of consistency even the devil cannot hold you ‘suddenly’. Every man has his season (Ps.1:1-3), it’s your living by the word that brings such season upon you – it does not matter where you are born or what you have. When you sow to the Spirit, the Spirit has no choice but give birth to your season.

The anointing of the Holy Spirit that brings forth blessing. 

In Gen 27, Isaac had to release the blessing; so the blessing is there and it is worked out by the Spirit, the anointing of the Holy Ghost. “By the anointing, the yoke shall be destroyed and the burden shall be lifted off”

“But my horn (emblem of excessive strength and stately grace) you have exalted like that of a wild ox; I am anointed with fresh oil)”.Ps. 92:10

What the anointing does is; it makes you like an untamed ox, it makes you restive, it makes you to refuse to accept the status quo.

David was moved out of the wilderness then sent back; but another opportunity opened for him to be brought out of hiding when he killed Goliath and then he ended up as king! What brought these about? He was anointed. You can’t send back a man whose season has come-if one door closes another will open.

It is breakthrough season for you! By the reason of His word and of His anointing your season is put into effect.
