Living by faith

Heb 11:17

By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac: and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten son,

Living by faith will cost you somethings. Does that scare you? Do not be afraid. Whatever living by faith costs you, it will be worth it. The Scriptures say, by faith Abraham offered up Isaac, his only begotten son. Hear me today, the same way, to live by faith it will cost you certain things. It will cost you time, effort and energy. 

Yes, time in the word of God. You will exert effort to

read the word of God, to speak right words and make confession based upon God’s word. It takes time to search out the word of God on healing, prosperity or whatever it is you want to develop faith for. This is exactly what some people are not ready to do and so will want to live by faith. They find it easier to ask some one to pray and believe for them rather than put in the necessary time and effort to develop their faith.

The other thing living by faith will cost you might be some friends, and I mean, believers like you who probably are not given to this kind living, who do not understand why you cannot join them to speak negative words. It will also mean you have to give up listening to some people. Oh yes, the life of faith costs. But the prize at the end of the day is worth the price.

So if you are not ready to give up, you are not ready to live up.
