Philippians
4:6 (NLT) “Don’t worry about anything: instead, pray about everything. Tell God
what you need, and thank Him for all He has done”
One
of the things that make people to lose out in their faith walk is worry.
But worry does not just happen, it has a root cause. What is it?
“A
wholesome tongue is a tree of life: but perverseness therein is a breach in the
spirit”
The
root of worry is found in perverse or contrary speech because it causes a
breach in the spirit.
A
breach is a rupture, a gap in a wall or a fortification when this is done what
follows is worry.
Proverbs
19:1,3 (amp) “Better is a poor man who walks in his integrity then a rich man
who is perverse in his speech and is a [self – confident] fool…
The
foolishness of man subverts his way [ruins his affairs]; then his heart is
resentful and frets against the Lord”
Confession:
I cast all my cares, anxieties, worries
upon the Lord for He cares for me. I refuse to take up any care or worry.
