Mark11:23
“For verily I say unto you, that whosoever shall say to this mountain. Be thou
removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but
shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall
have what soever he saith”.
There
are two major words used for the words ‘say’ and ‘saith’ and these two words
show different ways of expressing our faith through our words.
The
first word for ‘say’ is the greek word ‘logo’ which means to lay forth or to
set out or to relate in a systematic discourse. It implies this is the aspect
of your words of confession that you use to set out the direction, the course
of your life.
In
Mark 5:28 speaking of the woman with the issue of blood “… for she kept on
saying…” (amp).
This
is a repetitive action. It is not a once and for all kind of speaking. This is
more like a daily confession and it is used to set the course of your life.
Confession:
I believe therefore I speak continually
