A CHANGED LIFE

Heb 11:5-6
“By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God. But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”

The second thing we see a life of faith brought about is a “translation”.  Translation means a change or conversion to another form or appearance. This is what faith in God should bring about to the one who has it conversion to another form or appearance. This means that the evidence of one who has faith in God is a changed life. Change from being a sinner to being a saint, from being poor to being prosperous, from being in bondage to being free.
A changed life is the evidence of having faith in God, therefore where that is not present, then your faith in God should be questioned. It means when you meet with God or walk with God indeed you should experience a transformation. This is how you know whether people are just being religious or they have got a relationship with God.
This was the experience of Enoch and this should be your experience too. In 1Samuel, we are told that after the Spirit of God came upon Saul after he was anointed king, it was said that “he was turned into another man.”
Can it be said of you today that your faith in God has turned you into another person? Notice that it was said of Enoch, “…for before his translation he had this testimony…”, that is, people testified of him. Do people who really know you testify of you that your faith in God has changed you? If our faith in God has brought such testimony to our lives, it is worth examining if it is a real genuine one or if it is just religion we have imbibed.
