Romans 4:20 “He
staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith,
giving glory to God.”
We are considering ingredients of strong
faith or how do I know I possess strong faith? The first is to be strong in the
word. The second is to be strong in love. Not walking in love actually weakens
faith. “For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision
availeth anything, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.”
(Gal 5:6).
“…but only faith activated and energized
and expressed and working through love.”
Faith is strengthened by love. Another
translation says love turbo charges faith. Glory to God. There is a difference
that a turbo charge makes to an engine.
Such difference is what you see too in
your faith walk when you decide to add love to it. Make up your mind to walk in
love today, believe you can and confess you can and you will. Then watch your
faith rise to a new level.
Confession/Prayer:
The love of God is shed abroad in my
heart. Therefore I have no difficulty loving.
