Faith is spiritual

Hebrews 11:1

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen”

Faith is spiritual, it is not mental neither is it physical. The scripture says with the heart man believes, faith is spiritual. You must know this. When you understand this and understand its spiritual source, you will

know where to look to in other to be replenished when necessary. 

Another thing also is that you will know if it is not there, that is, in your heart. I always say this, that faith is not trying to put on a bold face, gritting your teeth kind of thing. No physical exertion thing will add anything to your faith.

The other thing you get from here also is that faith is not feelings. Faith is not present because you have goose bumps on your skin. Don’t use your feelings to judge faith, rather use your faith to judge feelings. Always interpret feelings through the eye of your faith.
