ABUNDANT LIFE IS HERE NOW

1 Timothy 6:12 “Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life…”

As we conclude on our meditation on the above text, I want to draw your attention to what the faith fight enables you to do 

“…lay hold on eternal…”. 

This does not mean heaven by the way. You become a citizen of heaven, the day Jesus came into your life. But to lay hold on eternal life, which is the God – kind of life, abundant life, you have to be involved in the faith fight. 

This is the reason why some believers will never enjoy the abundant life here on earth because they are still waiting on God. But He said through His son, “I am come that you might have life and have it more abundantly. 

Abundant life is here now, it is available but there is an enemy that wants to stop you from enjoying it. This is the reason for the fight of faith. You fight it by putting God’s word in your heart and speaking it out of your mouth. Thank God it’s a good fight – one in which you win.
