Cor. 4:18 “While we look not at the things which are not seen but at the
things which are seen but at the things which are not seen; for the things
which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal”
“Temporal”
means it is subject to change. If it can be perceived by the five senses, then
it is not permanent.
Nothing
is permanent, nothing is final. The only final thing, the only permanent thing
is the word of the living God. Therefore that
sickness, poverty or failure is subject to change. The negative situation in
your marriage is subject to change.
What
will change it? While we look not at the things which are seen but the things
which are not seen. What is that? The word of God. Don’t focus on your
symptoms, your bank account, focus on the word of God.
That
which is permanent will replace fact which is temporal when you focus on that
which is permanent.
Confession:
I
look unto Jesus (the Living Word), the author and completer of my faith. As I
look on Him, my faith is perfected.
Prayer:
I
speak a turn around to every situation in your life that is contrary to God’s
word in Jesus name
