Mark
11:23”For verily I say unto you, that whosoever shall say unto this mountain,
Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea, and shall not doubt in His
heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass;
he shall have whatsoever he saith”
Doubt
is a thief that creeps sometimes unnoticed into the heart of the believer and
steals away faith, and incapacitates when it comes to receiving. But you can
prevent this from happening when you understand how doubt
comes in. This is revealed as you study out the different words translated
doubt.
For
instance:
“Then
came the Jew round about Him and said unto Him, how long dost thou make us to
doubt…? John 10:24 (amp)
Here
the word used here is suggestive of a suspense due to lack of light or
revelation. That means there is not enough light or revelation for knowledge to
birth faith.
So
do not step out to exercise faith without having light/revelation or knowledge
on the matter.
Confession:
I
am a believer not a doubter. Therefore I refuse to be overtaken with doubt. I
believe in my heart.
