Romans
10:14 “How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how
shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard...?”
Let
us take the calling on Him as prayer or praying. We can read it this way: “How
then shall they call on Him (in prayer) in whom they have not believed?” God
expects that prayer should spring from a believing heart or a heart of
faith.
But
for there to be a heart of faith you must have heard the word
preached. This is the reason why some people pray and not receive answers. You
have not heard enough of the word of faith to be in your heart.
As
a result, the prayer is more out of anxiety or fear than of faith. Today, take
the time to hear the word of God on that issue, and then call on Him. The
scripture says whosoever shall call on Him shall not be ashamed
Confession:
I have confidence that when I pray God hears me because I pray in faith and I
pray His will.
Prayer: Call
unto God right now and he will answer you and show you great and mighty things
that hitherto were hidden from you.
