Hebrews 11:1
“Now faith is the substance of things
hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”
“NOW FAITH is the assurance (the
confirmation, the title deed) of things [we] hope for, being the proof of
things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as
real fact what is not revealed to the senses].
Another thing we see faith being called is
‘EVIDENCE’. Now this is a very strong factor in the use of faith. I read from
someone who said you have no business trying to exercise faith if you do not
have evidence, why is this so and what is evidence? “Something which shows that
something else exists or is true”. It is also giving proof that something exists.
There are two ways to look at this.
Firstly it means faith is the proof that something exists. Now what is the
proof that something exists? What is the proof that your healing, your supply,
your blessing exists? The word of God is the proof that it exists; therefore
the word of God, the written word, is the evidence of things not seen.
In effect, there is no faith present if
there is nothing you have from the word of God remotely or directly that what
you desire exist.
Now in the natural court of law, true
evidence has weight. It stands in the place of the real thing and upon it a
conviction or acquittal can be obtained. Take the evidence of the word of God
in that same manner when the enemy comes at you, show him you have evidence and
it will suffice until manifestation comes. For if there is evidence, then the
real thing exists. Glory to God.
CONFESSION:
I have evidence that my healing exists. I
have evidence that mu success exists. I have evidence that my prosperity
exists. The word of God is my evidence.
