Hebrews
13:15 “By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God
continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.”
Do
you know the phrase “giving thanks to his name” can also be rendered
“confessing to his name”? That is what thanksgiving is, a confession!
Yes,
that is right. Every time you give thanks to
God you are making a confession to God and that confession strengthens your
faith. This is why it is said that praise is the highest expression of faith.
This is why it is called a sacrifice, because it is done in faith.
Confession

I
will bless the Lord at all times. His praise shall continually be in my mouth.
Prayer:
As
praise and thanksgiving fill your mouth, so blessings will fill your life today
in Jesus
