God is a Rewarder!

Hebrews 11:5,6 “By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God"

But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is and that He is a rewarder

of them that diligently seek Him”

We are still on the faith that pleases God. 

The other thing we see about this faith is that it is a faith that believes that God is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him. This is where some people are defeated. Have you ever said something like “God put this sickness on me to teach me a lesson” or God is the one who used the accident to draw me closer to Him. 

If you have been saying such things you cannot operate in a faith that pleases God, because God is a rewarder. This is the way He introduced Himself to Abraham. “… I am thy shield and thy exceeding great reward”. That is who He is – a rewarder! If you want your faith to please God – take Him as such!

Confession:

God is a rewarder. He adds to me, He does not take from me. My life is made better because of Him.
